The Laurels of West Columbus is very pleased that many surgeons and attending physicians follow their patients at our facility.
If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. Edward Chernick, MD
Medical Director
Edward Chernick, MD is a physician born and raised in Ohio. He has completed all of his medical education and training within the Columbus area as well. He attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate degree and for medical school.
After medical school, Dr. Chernick completed his internal medicine residency at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was the attending physician at Riverside's internal medicine residency program for over 25 years teaching residents and medical students.
Aside from practicing medicine, Dr. Chernick enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, and two puppies. He is interested in sports, particularly OSU athletics, and golf, along with cooking and pet rescues.
